What to know before you land in United Kingdom
Coverage and networks
The UK has four networks: EE, O2, Vodafone UK and Three. EE is the usual coverage leader, including the Scottish Highlands and rural Wales. London and every major city are solid on all four; the plan card names yours.
Landing and activation
Install before departure and switch on at Heathrow or Gatwick. The London Underground now has mobile coverage on most central sections, but do not count on it for the first activation.
