GetSim provides you with virtual numbers for the period you select. You determine the duration during the purchase process. If you have sufficient balance in your account and the automatic renewal feature is enabled as your period nears its end, your number's usage period will be automatically extended without any additional action required.
When Auto-Renewal is enabled in the Settings or My Numbers section of your account (either for all numbers or individually), the system checks your balance before your number expires. If there is sufficient balance, the renewal fee is automatically charged, the usage period is extended for the selected period, and you will receive a notification with the new expiration date. if the balance is insufficient or the feature is disabled, renewal will not occur, and you will receive a warning explaining the reason and what you need to do. You can also disable this feature at any time.
After you rent a number, just enter it on the target service’s verification screen; SMS codes appear in your in‑app inbox, and your number stays fixed for the entire rental period with unlimited SMS reception. Renewal is handled only via Auto‑Renew; if it’s enabled and you have sufficient balance, your number is extended automatically before it expires, and you can disable this option anytime. If Auto‑Renew is off and the period ends, the number is released and we can’t guarantee you’ll get the same one again.
ESIM
An eSIM is a digital SIM that lets you use mobile data without inserting a physical SIM card. You can install it on your phone using a QR code or manual setup details.
You can use mobile data while traveling abroad for maps, WhatsApp, social media, email, browsing, and other apps without relying on expensive roaming.
Most GetSim eSIM plans are data-only. This means regular phone calls and SMS may not be included. You can still use internet-based apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, Telegram, or Messenger.
Many newer iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel, and other devices support eSIM. Before purchasing, please check your device settings or the manufacturer’s website to confirm eSIM compatibility.
Yes, in most cases you can install your eSIM before your trip. However, some plans may start after installation, while others start when they connect to a supported network. Please check your plan details.
Your eSIM usually becomes active after installation and once it connects to a supported mobile network in the destination country.
After purchasing an eSIM, you will receive installation instructions. You can install it by scanning the QR code or by entering the manual activation details in your phone’s cellular settings.
You can open the QR code on another device and scan it with your phone. If manual setup is available, you can also enter the activation details directly in your phone settings.
Yes. Your eSIM works as a second mobile line. Your regular SIM can stay active, and you can continue using your main number if your carrier supports it.
If your main SIM is active and your carrier supports roaming in that country, you may still receive calls and SMS on your main number. You can select your GetSim eSIM for mobile data.
GetSim offers country-specific and regional eSIM plans. Please check the available destinations in the app before purchasing.
Country-specific eSIM plans usually work only in the selected country. If you are visiting multiple countries, a regional plan such as Europe, Asia, or Global may be a better option.
A regional eSIM plan allows you to use mobile data in multiple countries with a single eSIM package. It is useful for trips that include more than one destination.
In most cases, an eSIM can only be installed on one device and cannot be transferred after installation. Please make sure you install it on the correct device.
Most eSIMs can only be installed once. If you delete your eSIM by mistake, please contact support. Reinstallation may not always be possible.
When your data is used up, your internet connection may stop or become limited. You can purchase a new plan or top up your eSIM if this option is available.
The validity period depends on the plan. Some plans start after installation, while others start when the eSIM first connects to a supported network. Please check the plan details before purchasing.
Internet speed can depend on network coverage, signal strength, local operator conditions, device settings, and 4G/5G availability. Try restarting your phone and checking your eSIM settings.
Make sure mobile data is enabled for your eSIM, data roaming is turned on for the eSIM line, and you are in a supported country. You can also restart your phone and check if the correct APN settings are required.
Yes, many travel eSIMs require data roaming to be enabled on the eSIM line. Make sure you enable data roaming for your GetSim eSIM, not necessarily for your main SIM.
No. Your WhatsApp account will continue working with your existing number. The eSIM only provides mobile data and does not change your WhatsApp number.
It is best to buy your eSIM before your trip and complete the setup in advance. This way, you can connect to mobile data quickly when you arrive at your destination.
Yes. You can purchase multiple eSIMs for different countries, trips, or devices from the same GetSim account.
No. One eSIM is usually valid for one device only. If you need mobile data on two phones, you should purchase separate eSIMs.
Yes. eSIM technology is secure and works through mobile network providers, just like a physical SIM card. It also removes the need to carry or swap physical SIM cards while traveling.
An eSIM provides mobile internet access. A virtual number is used for receiving SMS, verification codes, or number-based services. They are different products, but both can be managed through GetSim.
